Seeking Your Input -- Language Lore #010
September 28, 2012
,

This month, we are seeking input from you our readers. We've recently posted a page where you can submit your best language learning tips. The page includes our top five tips, and we need many more suggestions from you. There is also a list of all of the places you can comment on YourLanguageGuide.com. Check it out here.

Terry and Ann recently visited Cuba. They have posted the first three of a ten part series of blogs about their experiences there. Click here to find the links to the first three. Then, return each week for new posts.

If you haven't had a chance, be sure to get your copy of the Walkabout Language Learning Action Guide which shows you step by step how to create your own language learning program.

The Action Guide shows you how to put all of your language learning efforts into practice, with this guide:

  • You control the vocabulary you learn.
  • You practice the skills you need.
  • You decide how much time to spend.
  • You tailor your study to meet your needs.
  • You learn at your own speed.
  • You assess your progress.
  • You decide when you've reached your level of mastery.
  • You follow step by step instructions to create your own language lessons.

We'd love to hear from you. Stop by to:

Tell us your reasons for learning a new language. OR

Tell us your favorite culture story. OR

Share funny kid stories. OR

Share ideas for teaching children a language. OR

Tell experiences in India. OR

Blab about bilingual celebs. OR

Share your best study abroad tips.

Look forward to hearing from you soon.

Best regards,
Leslie Woodford and Terry and Ann Marshall
